Robert G. Relph, Jr., CLU, REBC, RHU, HIA, is co-owner and CEO of Relph Benefit Advisors. Leaving behind a football coaching position at Colgate University, in 1982 Mr. Relph joined the insurance agency his father, Robert G. Relph, Sr., had founded in 1965, and began to shift its focus from individual insurance to the emerging market of voluntary work site plans offered through payroll deduction.
Realizing the need for employees to better understand these benefits, Relph Benefit Advisors developed customized employee communication and education programs, allowing employees to become better-informed consumers of healthcare services and products, representing a difference of approach that still sets Relph apart from its competitors. Today, Relph Benefit Advisors has a comprehensive, sophisticated suite of services, still focused on offering relief to its clients by successfully resolving the challenges of providing employee benefits.
Mr. Relph has earned both the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant) designations through The American College. With over 28 years of experience serving clients all over New York State and as CEO of one of Upstate New York's largest independent employee benefits brokerages, he is also in increasing demand as a speaker for industry-related conferences, drawing on his unique long-range perspective to help employers understand the impact to them of market trends and new developments. Relph Benefit Advisors now employs over 110 people and has offices in Rochester and Watertown. Mr. Relph lives in Victor, NY, with his wife and the two youngest of their four children.

President
John Bartholf is the President of Relph Benefit Advisors in Pittsford, NY which employs more than 110 individuals locally. John has been with the firm since 1984 and spends most of his time developing strategies to help employers improve the health of their populations and also control their healthcare costs.
Residents of Mendon, John and his wife Robyn have three grown children and two grandchildren.
